West Gables Health Care Center has broken ground on a new 125,000-square-foot skilled nursing facility that will nearly triple its capacity and expand access to care. The new five-story, 180-bed campus will offer private rooms, rehabilitation services, activity spaces, and long-term care in a homelike environment. Leadership said the project reflects growing demand for senior care, while industry officials noted Florida’s aging population will increase the need for skilled nursing services. West Gables also highlighted its nationally recognized specialty programs, including advanced rehabilitation and specialty care offerings such as OrthoWin orthopedic rehab, RenalX CKD management, and RespiraCare pulmonary rehab.
